The international conference "Extreme Rights Transnational - Towards a New Post-War History" invites researchers and experts to examine the transnational dimensions of the extreme right after 1945.
The aim is to create new impulses for cooperation and exchange between female scholars in Europe and beyond. The conference will shed light on cross-border networks, the dissemination of far-right media, mobilisation strategies and the historical dynamics of ideologies and movements.
The conference will focus on transnational actors, media channels, social movements, youth cultures and music scenes that contributed to the networking and dissemination of right-wing ideologies. The event is aimed at historians and interdisciplinary researchers who would like to contribute to the emergence and development of the extreme right.
Abstracts for lectures and poster presentations must be submitted by 1 March 2025. Further information can be found at: conference_transnational2025@unifr.ch.
