Knowledge Exchange (KE) is a dynamic, reciprocal process whereby researchers and external organisations come together to exchange ideas, data, experiences and expertise in order to create new knowledge for mutual benefit. It involves partnership and collaboration in research. This webinar reflects on different types of Knowledge Exchange within the HERA Joint Research Programme and explores the challenges of working with non-academic partners in a COVID-19 context. The event will feature a presentation that draws on 10 years of the HERA JRP programme to interrogate existing Models of KE as applied to the Arts and Humanities. This will be followed by a series of short case studies from HERA Public Spaces projects and a discussion focused on the main theme of ‘Rethinking Knowledge Exchange within the Humanities.’
Panellists: Co-chairs: Joanna Sofaer and Tony Whyton (HERA KE & Impact Fellows)
Presenters: Craig Hamilton (Birmingham City University), Malte Gasche (BESTROM), Phil Whitington (Intoxicating Spaces), Avril Maddrell (CEMI), Alba Colombo (FESTSPACE), Thomas Mougey and Georgiana Kotsou (SciConf), Katie Young (NITE)
